Benefits

Why tint your windows.

Cooler cabin

Ceramic film keeps a big share of the sun's heat out. The car cools down faster, the seats and wheel aren't as hot, and the A/C works less hard.

UV protection

Film blocks most of the UV that comes through the glass. That's better for your skin on long drives and helps keep the dash, seats and trim from fading and cracking.

Less glare

Easier on the eyes in bright sun, on wet roads and on the freeway at sunset, so driving feels less tiring.

Privacy and security

Harder to see in, so bags, laptops and anything else in the car are out of sight.

No signal interference

Ceramic film has no metal in it, so it won't get in the way of your phone, GPS, radio or toll tag.

Better looks

A clean, even shade on every window gives the car a finished look that matches the factory privacy glass.

Why ceramic

Ceramic film vs. basic tint.

Heat, not just shade

Basic dyed tint mostly darkens the glass. Ceramic film is built to reject heat, so even a light shade keeps the car cooler.

No fading

Dyed film can fade and turn purple over time. Ceramic film keeps its color.

Signal friendly

Ceramic film has no metal in it, so your phone, GPS, keyless entry and radio work normally.

Questions

Tint questions, answered.

How much heat does ceramic tint block?
Ceramic film is made to reject a large share of the sun's heat, even in lighter shades. You'll feel the difference most on the seats, steering wheel and dash after the car sits in the sun.
What does the percentage mean?
It's how much visible light gets through the glass. 70% is very light, 35% is a medium shade, and 5% is the darkest, often called limo tint.
What's the difference with ceramic tint?
Ceramic tint is built to block heat and UV without needing to be very dark, so you get a cooler cabin and less glare without a blacked-out look.
Will tint interfere with my phone or GPS?
Ceramic tint has no metal in it, so it doesn't block phone, GPS or radio signals.
How soon can I roll my windows down?
Give the film a few days to dry before rolling the windows down. We'll tell you exactly how long when you pick up the car.
Does tint help an electric car?
It can. A cooler cabin means the A/C does less work, which is energy your battery doesn't have to spend.
Will the tint fade or turn purple?
Ceramic film doesn't use the dyes that make cheap tint fade and turn purple over time, so the color stays the same.
